IDY youth ministry is a amazing ministry for 11-16 year olds. It’s purpose, through creating safe spaces for young people, is to help them have fun, build authentic friendships with one another and to develop a deep rooted faith in Jesus which is lived out in their everyday lives.
IDY Friday Nights
Friday nights are full of games, chill out time and fun packed activities as people gather following their week at school. During this, time is also set aside of exploring the relevancy of God and the Bible in the young people’s lives today.
We believe in building faith in our young people today, but also in helping create building blocks that will help them in their future seasons of faith as well. Due to this, for three out of four Sunday’s in a month, Year 6-10, through activities, games and opening the Bible, explore topics that help grow and mature young people’s faith.
Deeper Discipleship Group
Deeper Discipleship is a group that meets once a month. We eat together; have fun together, and enjoy digging into the Bible together. This is a space that has been created for our young people who have an active faith in God, and who want to deepen that relationship through learning, encountering and translating what faith in their everyday lives might look like.
