Our Vision and Mission

Good news needs to be shared therefore we want to fuel you to share it! To be light-bearers, peace-makers, joy-bringers, and city-shapers wherever God sends us.

We are a church compelled by a Jesus-centred vision. We want to Fuel people to light the world. We wholeheartedly believe that the only way this can happen is to be a church who go the second mile, who are not afraid to start small, who produce and not just consume, who do life together by choice, who honour one another to glorify God and who know the importance of the next generation because age is just a number.

“Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colours in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. ‭‭ Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬-‭15

Water Baptism

Every person should be a disciple of Christ.

This means we believe our first step after our yes to Jesus is to be water baptised. Water Baptism is something we believe the Bible teaches us to do in Matthew 28. Our Yes to Jesus as King of our lives removes the old dead life we were living in and gives us the gift to live in His fully alive presence (Romans 7). We love water baptisms at Mosaic because it’s always the first step in becoming a fully devoted follower of Christ.
